Joaquín Basualto

In this universe there is an inner planet where a government committed to art resides, which for unknown reasons possess this postmodern body,
that of a young man born in a town in southern Chile, which we will call Puerto Montt; already affected in his motor skills, at the age of 8, his
mother enrolled him in an oil painting workshop, since he showed a certain artistic sensitivity from a very young age.

At the age of 16, within the Puerto Monttina community, he was invited to participate in a play which takes his character to know a world
of adults with artistic stimuli that fascinated him.

In his life trajectory at the age of 19 he decided to change his southern daily life for stimuli of a neighboring metropolis promising fantasies.

Within his imaginary, performativity and aesthetic resources, he explores universes such as the transvestite, the gay archive, the Latin punk / pop / kitsch
culture and the Dadaism.
